Our story
Béland was founded in 1980 by Mr. Béland and Mr. Desgagnés around an idea that stepped outside the beaten path: striking direct deals with mills to recover production runs with minor imperfections, and giving them a second life with manufacturers who would put them to good use.
What others saw as a problem, they saw as an opportunity. A minor imperfection doesn’t make a panel unusable, it simply makes it unsuited to Grade A standards. For the majority of industrial uses, it’s exactly what’s needed, at a price that changes the game.
